Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Develop and enhance monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana and Kibana to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency through innovative automation technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimise system designs and deploy resilient architectures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and impact on end-users.
- Participate in on-call rotations (every six weeks), providing critical support when needed, with an allowance included.
- Document procedures, system changes, and troubleshooting guides for efficient knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a related role.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including deployment and management.
- Hands-on expertise with monitoring tools like Grafana and Kibana.
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting to streamline workflows and improve reliability.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with business customers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset for addressing challenges.
- Availability for on-call duties on a rotational basis, supported by an on-call allowance.
