Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end debit card or payment file processing lifecycle
- Deliver exceptional first-line support to clients via phone and email
- Resolve client queries and issues, escalating where appropriate
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical problems
- Monitor operational systems and identify areas for efficiency improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation of client communications and technical procedures
- Provide insights into banking workflows to aid system enhancements
- Support onboarding of new financial clients with operational guidance
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to test new features and updates
Requirements:
- Experience in payment processing or card operations within a banking or credit union environment
- Familiarity with branch-based banking systems and file transfer protocols
- Confident in managing customer calls with empathy, clarity and professionalism
- Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and follow set procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A genuine interest in financial technology and systems
- Willingness to work fully on-site, Monday to Friday
- EU citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland
